C-3PO (in the original version) or Z- 6PO1 (in the French version of the episodes IV, V and VI) is a "protocol droid" from the Star Wars saga. It is a protocol droid humanoid form, particularly loquacious and according to its words, "mastering over six million forms of communication". Its usual companion R2- D2, with whom it formed a duet inspired by Laurel and Hardy. They are the only two characters to appear in all the films of the saga.
